Villa Roca, Ibiza
Wondering where to stay in Ibiza? Built into the rocks high up in the mountain trees, Villa Roca is loaded with amenities. Secluded, yet close to the action, a stay here allows you to enjoy the same privacy required by a movie star but without all the hassle of moving your entourage. From overhead, you’ll appreciate the classic, scene-setting movie shot this mansion provides. Down below, you’ll be able to play out the scenes to a classic romance film: the sunken bath tub with rose petals, the patio hot tub with views of the mountains below, and the relaxing hammock are all perfect for a special moment. And since you’re on a mountain with no neighbors, privacy is not high on your list of worries.

Ani Estate, Anguilla
Ani Estate has the look and feel of the beach house from Sleeping with the Enemy, but the ocean views off the charming island of Anguilla are even better than the ones Julia Roberts’ character stares at wistfully during the movie. Here, you can watch stand up paddleboarders from your glass-encased veranda that hangs over the clear blue water. Designed for large groups, this estate features two villas that can be rented separately or together. World-class amenities ensure you never have to leave the property. Gourmet meals, alcohol, laundry service and more are included, while tennis and shuffleboard courts, a fitness facility, and al fresco dining are on site. If you do decide to go off-site, golf clubs, snorkeling gear, and mountain bikes are all provided. Decisions, decisions!

Hollywood Pearl, Hollywood
Nothing sets the scene for a movie-worthy home quite like a perfect view of the Hollywood skyline. Pristine California vistas are available from the infinity-edge pool and surrounding loungers, each of the bedrooms and their adjoining glass-lined balconies, and virtually every living and dining area in the house as many of them feature retractable walls creating a delightful open-air concept. The villa’s decor is on point; its walls are adorned with big screen legends like Audrey Hepburn, James Dean, and Marilyn Monroe. The villa’s glamorous gray stone terrace is perfect for an impromptu photo shoot, in fact rumor has it this house was used in a 50 Cent video. Since you’ll already feel like a movie star at Hollywood Pearl, it won’t be tough to get into character. Lights, Camera, Action!

Twin Palms Sinatra Estate, Palm Springs
Was there a bigger American star in the 1940s and 1950s than Frank Sinatra? The beloved music icon and Hollywood star was fond of many things (Jack Daniel’s, model trains), but few more than Palm Springs, a region which he discovered in the mid-1940s on a tip from composer Jimmy Van Heusen. Still a small town at the time, Sinatra commissioned then-little-known architect E. Stewart Williams to build him a home there. With some nudging from Williams, Ol’ Blue Eyes settled on a modern but risky design. With a piano-shaped pool in the back and two tall palm trees out front (hence the name), Sinatra’s new estate became a haven for celebrities and politicians, including Cary Grant, Marilyn Monroe, and even President John F. Kennedy. Despite renovations over the years, Twin Palms maintains the feel it had back then. Now, the former Sinatra Estate can be yours for a blast-from-the-past vacation. But more, much more than this, you can do it his way.

The Spa House, Cape Town
The Spa House is so unusually amazing that not only can we picture it in a movie, we can picture ourselves watching that movie and saying, ‘Wow, I’d love to live in that home!’. Luckily, you can. As far as luxury villas go, this indoor-outdoor bijou is as eye-popping as they come. Let’s start with the underwater relaxation room, stashed away underneath the infinity pool, which surrounds you behind large glass windows. It features a sauna, steam room, and salt bath. Next, the main deck with sun loungers floats above the pool while the mini island deck is accessible across three small stepping stones. Finally, the kitchen and dining room sit at ground level between the outdoor pool and an indoor pool. Even with a ceiling overhead, we can barely tell if we’re indoors or out! Thus, the architectural wonder that is The Spa House.
