There’s nothing better than living the villa life when on vacation. That’s why our new web series focuses not only on some of the most impressive homes in our portfolio, but on the experiences in and around them. Subscribe to our YouTube channel to catch every episode of The Villa Life as they go live, and read on for a sneak peek of what to expect from the first three, featuring some of the most glorious villas in Turks and Caicos.
Turks and Caicos is every bit of the white sand, blue sky, turquoise water paradise it promises to be. Calm waters make it a great water sport destination, and its large barrier reef—the Bight Reef—attracts a huge diversity of marine life close to the beach. And within this postcard-perfect setting there are some of the world’s most staggeringly beautiful vacation rentals too. That’s why we headed straight for Turks and Caicos to shoot the first episodes of our new YouTube series, The Villa Life.
The Villa Life is a behind-the-scenes tour of some of the world’s most exquisite vacation homes. In the inaugural episodes featuring the TCI, our host, Luxury Retreats Villa Specialist Andriana Hnatykiw—or “Andy,” as she prefers—explores three of the islands’ finest. Plus, she tests everything from a villa’s personal chef-prepared conch salad to a soothing water massage in a pool.
Even for Andy, whose travel record includes living with a nomadic Tibetan family in the mountains of Gansu, China; visits to Ukraine, Cambodia, Malaysia, Japan, and even a meeting with the Dalai Lama in Dharamsala, India, Turks and Caicos offered up some new adventures. “I had a lot of firsts,” she confesses. “I drove an ATV for the first time, I rode a jet ski for the first time, it was even my first time playing tennis!”
Talking travel is something Hnatykiw handles with ease. On each episode, she offers insider access and personal recommendations for what to do in and around those homes. And the dreamy ocean views will forever be imprinted in her mind, she says. “Turks and Caicos has the most beautiful water I’ve ever seen in my life,” sighs Hnatykiw. “It looks like blue Kool-Aid.”
These villas and this beautiful setting will inspire you too—so here’s even more tips, highlights, and recommendations for each from Hnatykiw.
Coral Pavilion, Grace Bay
5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, sleeps 10
“Coral Pavilion is the pinnacle of relaxation and luxury combined. It’s understated in a way that is very sophisticated, and never gaudy. It caters to guests used to a luxurious lifestyle but that don’t want the flash.”
—The Villa Life host Andriana Hnatykiw
Timeless Beauty: What better backdrop than picturesque Grace Bay Beach for an oceanfront vacation retreat? Inspired by the grand Bajan vacation homes of Barbados, this elegant mansion’s coral-stone walls, white upholstery, and graceful chandeliers exude tropical refinement. Its location begs its guests to take advantage of the sparkling surroundings, both inside and out. Coral Pavilion is the perfect place to wade into the ocean just steps from your villa—the snorkeling is pristine and the calm water is an excellent place to try paddleboarding—and then relax in a heated pool afterward.
Each of its five bedroom suites has its own bathroom, but the villa’s crown jewel is its top-floor, window-filled, views-for-miles master bedroom. “I believe this home’s master bedroom is the best in Turks and Caicos,” says Hnatykiw. “It takes up the entire upper floor and overlooks the beach. And the bed! It’s incredibly comfortable. During the filming of this episode of The Villa Life, I lounged there—and only there— between takes.”
Can’t-Miss Activity: Experiencing a Water Massage
You’ve probably never had a massage quite like the one the Coral Pavilion offers. Instead of the typical table rub, a massage therapist walks you into the pool and guides your body through slow, gentle movements that allows the water to relax your muscles and joints.
“It’s more that the water itself massages you, a concept I didn’t understand before experiencing it,” says Hnatykiw. “My water massage took place on a warm day with the pool at the perfect temperature, and I was gently guided through the water while it rippled around my body. It was incredibly relaxing.”
Pearl East, Long Bay Beach
8 bedrooms, 8.5 bathrooms, sleeps 16
“Pearl East is a magnet for celebrity guests because it’s so private, and so far off the beaten path. Everyone has plenty of their own space; in a sense, each room feels like its very own villa.”
—The Villa Life host Andriana Hnatykiw
An A-List Hideaway: This beachside retreat has hosted the getaways of none other than the youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner crew, Kylie and Kendall, as well as rapper Nicki Minaj. The villa’s incredible privacy is the draw—and a stay can be especially intimate if you rent the neighboring Pearl West and Lidjia House at Pearls of Long Bay Estate, each with its own private gated entrance.
The views keep everyone who experiences these villas coming back. Pearl East’s close proximity to Long Bay’s sparkling blue water and soft white sand makes for a stunning, too-good-to-be-true vista. “It’s so perfect that it looks like a screensaver,” jokes Hnatykiw. “The walk down to the water with its unspoiled ocean view is just stunning.”
And one of the few tried-and-true ways to improve on such an idyllic beach stroll? Just add a puppy. Potcake Place, a local charity near Long Bay Beach, allows you to take a puppy for a walk at your leisure.
There’s plenty of other ways to stay active at Pearl East, too, as there’s a full-sized gym and a regulation tennis court on the grounds. Rest easy after working up a sweat, as each of the villa’s eight bedrooms is equipped with its own luxe bathroom, Netflix, and Apple TV for winding down.
Can’t-Miss Activity: Off-Roading in an ATV
The beauty never seems to end throughout the Turks and Caicos, and one of the best and most exhilarating ways to navigate the islands is on four wheels—not by car, but by ATV. Getting off-road allows you to access those truly off-the-beaten-path corners of the island, places you’d never have known were there. Plus, the excitement of the ride will keep your heart rate high. “It was such an adrenaline rush,” says Hnatykiw. “My instructor at Froggie’s Ultimate Tours was so accommodating and was able to make me feel comfortable for my first time in an ATV.”
Tip of the Tail, Turtle Tail
5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, sleeps 12
“The draw for Tip of the Tail is its location. Not only do you have exclusive oceanfront access, but your private beach has glittering sand from Grace Bay Beach—so it’s like having your own slice of Grace Bay. And the surroundings and nearby activities are epic: beautiful white cliffs, a glass infinity pool, jet skiing steps away, plus horseback riding you can do right on the beach.”

Where “Miami Meets Mykonos”: “I wanted to build a house that would give the feeling of being on the stern of a yacht looking out to the sea, right where you can hear the waves hitting the rocks,” says owner Glenn Garrard of his plan upon purchasing land at the very edge of Providenciales’ Turtle Tail peninsula. The villa delivers on the ‘wow’ factor Garrard was aiming for, from the private slice of beach to the dock hanging out over the sea to the five deluxe bedroom suites, which all come together to create a feeling of glamour and seclusion he describes as “Miami meets Mykonos.”
Whether sunbathing with a cocktail by the pool or stargazing around the fire pit after sundown, a stay at secluded Tip of the Tail is an unforgettable experience. And thanks to included private airport transfers, housekeeping, butler service, and a full-time chef, time spent at the Tip is also effortless.
Can’t-Miss Activity: Horseback Riding on the Beach
One of the Caribbean’s trendiest new vacation activities combines two favorites: going to the beach and horseback riding. The stallions don’t just trot across the sand; they splash right into the water too.
“It’s one of the best things I’ve ever done,” says Hnatykiw. “My horse’s name was Thor, and he was a big teddy bear. Riding in the water is so calm and relaxing, and you feel fully immersed in nature.”
Stay tuned for our next series of episodes with a new host and destination. Where will we head next? You’ll just have to wait and see.
